Today I want to share how to make the Paper Star Ornaments that you can make by using just paper and glue :)
Einen frohen ersten Tag im Jahr 2012! Ich hoffe, ihr hattet gestern einen wundervollen Tag...
Heute möchte ich euch zeigen, wie ihr Papier-Stern-Anhänger machen könnt, und dazu braucht ihr nur Papier und Kleber :)
You'll need 5 pieces of paper, I'm using Origami paper as it's supereasy to fold measuring 7x7cm (3x3inches).
Ihr braucht 5 Blätter Papier, ich verwende Origami Papier, da es ganz leicht zu falten geht, es misst 7x7cm.
First you need to fold the square in half, turn in 90° and fold in half again.
Als erstes faltet ihr das Quadrat zur Hälfte, dreht es um 90° und faltet es erneut.
Next unfold and make a diagonal crease - the side of the paper, that you want to show afterwards in the middle of the star (in my case the floral print) you want to be inside the fold.
Als nächstes entfalten und erneut diagonal falten - die Seite des Papier, das nachher in der Mitte des Kreises zu sehen sein soll (in meinem Fall das Blumenmuster) sollte jetzt in der Mitte des Papiers versteckt sein.
Just unfold again, floral print facing downwards, push the middle down and fold square as shown below.
Nun wieder alles auseinander falten, das Blumenmuster nach unten, drückt die Mitte nach unten und faltet das Quadrat wie gezeigt.
Put adhesive on one of the small squares that have been created by folding ...
Nun kommt Kleber auf eines der kleinen Quadrate, die beim Falten entstanden sind...
and adhere all 5 pieces together like I did in the pictures, don't stick the first and the fifth together now.
und fügt so alle 5 Teile zusammen, so wie ich es in den Bildern zeige, klebt das erste und fünfte noch nicht zusammen.
Now there are different ways on how to put the final ornament together - Read first all possibilities to find out what you want to do :)
First, if you just want to use it as a table decoration, just stick together, or if you want to have it hanging down from a tree eg. - adhere some ribbon and put together afterwards.
Jetzt gibt es einige Möglichkeiten, wie ihr das Ornament fertigstellen könnt - Lest zuerst die Möglichkeiten, damit ihr wisst, wie ihr's machen wollt :)
Als erstes, wenn ihr es als Tischdekoration verwenden wollt, klebt es einfach zusammen, oder, wenn ihr es aufhängen wollt - klebt ein Band an und fügt es dann zusammen.
If you want to save space when storing the ornaments, these ways of putting them together is what you want to do...
For one of these ways, you'll need two little squares that measure a quarter of the paper you created the folded parts with (3,5x3,5cm / 1,5x1,5inches), some thread or thin ribbon and a pearls you can thread the ribbon through.
Wenn ihr allerdings Platz beim Verstauen sparen wollt, könnt ihr es machen, wie folgt...
Für eine Möglichkeit braucht ihr zwei kleine Quadrate, die ein Viertel so groß sind, wie das Papier, aus dem ihr die gefalteten Teile gemacht habt (in meinem Fall 3,5x3,5cm), etwas Faden oder ein dünnes Band und eine Perle, durch die ihr das Band durchziehen könnt.
Put some glue on the outer square of the ornament, lay the thread/ribbon onto the square and fix with one of the small squares you cut in addition. Repeat with the other end part of the ornament, creating a loop with the thread/ribbon you're using.
Gebt Kleber auf eines der äußeren Quadrate des Ornaments, legt den Faden/das Band darauf und fixiert alles mit einem der kleinen Quadrate, die ihr zusätzlich ausgeschnitten habt. Wiederholt den Schritt mit dem anderen Ende des Ornaments, dabei bildet ihr einen Kreis mit dem Faden/Band, das ihr verwendet.
Now that you've adhered the thread/ribbon, pull that through the pearl and that's how you pull the ornament shut.
Nun zieht ihr den Faden/das Band durch die Perle und so könnt ihr das Ornament schließen.
Or you punch holes through the outer edges of the first and fifth part of the ornament and thread some ribbon through this hole.
Oder ihr macht Löcher in due äußersten Ecken der äußeren Teile des Ornaments und fädelt den Faden / das Band durch dieses Loch.
