Happy Anniversary

Currently my mom and stepdad are on vacation in Stockholm and it happens that their wedding anniversary just came across - so mom asked me to make a Card she could take with her to give away.

So I kept it simple that nothing could get destroyed in the airplane or anything, so no big ribbon or lots of layers, just some flat embellies and one added layer.

I also tried watercoloring again and I am kinda getting into it I have to admit - so prepare, you'll be seeing more of that on my blog now =)

Congratulations you two !

That's what my Card today says - a very CAS Congrats-Card for a Wedding or Engagement - change the colours around and the Layout would make a cute Card for a Baby-Card aswell
- or a Cograts-Card for the baby'S parents in that case =)

Spinner Card

Another Tuesday, another Challenge for you guys n dolls over at the Cards und More Blog!

Today's Challenge is to create a "Spinner Card" - I've never made one of these before but actually it wasn't that hard.

Basically what you wanna do is - add an element that rolls around in a created cut-out. In my case the Flowers can move from the left side of the Card to the right side.

So here's my project...^

A Treasure Box with a Card...

What a long time it has been, more than 9 weeks - I'm sorry.

A lot has been going on, I'm trying to get back to my crafting routine, so today I can show you a Card I made as a request for a girl at work.

She's giving away a box filled with sand and money for a wedding and she asked me to make a Card for the inside of the box (to cover the inside of the lid).

Over at the Cards und More - Blog we're having a new Challenge today which is "Vintage".

By looking at the stuff I normally make, it's easy to guess that vintage is not my speciality.

So this one was quite a challenge for me, too...

Simply Love

I was asked to make a Wedding Card - no special wishes or anything.

Whilst sometimes it's hard to meet the expectations when you have no idea what the people like who'll receive it, this one was quite easy for me to make.

Sometimes you just sit down and start crafting and everything just "flows" out of your hands.

I hope the newly-weds love the Card as much as I do!

This weekend the weather was bad - rain and rain and rain ...

So I took the time to make some Cards and today I want to show you the Card I made for the Creative Card Crew. We're having an "Animal" Challenge and were able to use some Whiff of Joy images.

I must admit I don't share the love for these mice... but hey, it's a Challenge so why not break up the regular habit and try something new ?

Nautical Wedding Present

Today I want to show you the present that went with the Wedding Card I showed you last time.

I got that "water jug" from a friend at work and all the rest was custommade. I glued that cord on with my hotglue-gun, added some primaflowers and pearls + rhinestones.

This jug was just the packaging of the present as bride and groom got some gift coupons which we rolled up, put into the jug and to hide them, we filled the jug half way with sand.

Heute möchte ich euch das Geschenk zeigen, das zur Hochzeitskarte vom letzten Post gehört.

Den "Wasserkrug" hab ich von einer Freundin in der Arbeit, der Rest ist "handgemacht". Die Kordel ist mit Heißkleber befestigt, dazu ein paar Primaflowers und Perlchen + Schmucksteine.

Der Krug ist allerdings nur die Verpackung des Geschenks da Braut und Bräutigam Gutscheine bekommen haben, die in Röllchen gedreht haben. Um die Gutscheine ein wenig zu verstecken wurde zu guter letzt der Krug noch zur Hälfte mit Sand gefüllt.

Nautical Wedding Card

A college at work just got married today and I was asked to make a maritime/nautical card with Rhinestones on it. Well, yeah, it took me quite a while but finally I decided to go with blue, silver and white cardstock, some swiveled ribbon and ALOT of bling.

Eine Kollegin auf der Arbeit hat heute geheiratet und ich wurde gebeten eine maritime Karte mit Schmucksteinen zu machen. Ahm, ja, nachdem ich mir einige Zeit den Kopf zerbrochen habe, entschied ich mich für blauen, silbernen und weißen Cardstock, gedrehtes Band und VIEL Bling.

Tadaaa...

Wedding Guest-Books

Letztens wurden zwei Hochzeiten gefeiert und meine Aufgabe war es, die Gästebücher zu gestalten. Das erste Mal kommen hier Stabbindungen zum Einsatz, Ringbindung erschien mir nicht festlich genug. Entschuldigt die Farbe auf dem Fotos, aber meine Cam mag weiß nicht so gern wie es scheint.

Recently we celebrated two weddings and it was my job to make those wedding guest books. First time ever I used lance-bindings, as ring binding seemed not beautiful enough for me. I apologise for the color on the pics but my cam refuses to photograph white as you'll see.

Die Bücher wurden während und nach dem Hochzeits-Essen herum gereicht, so konnten alle Gäste ihr Gedanken und Erinnerungen, Wünsche und Sprüche niederschreiben.

We passed them around during and after the wedding dinner, so all the guests could write down their thoughts and memories, wishes and good lucks.

I made one which is for a wedding gift, so I chose to use some lace, pearls and the bride's color Purple.

Die hier habe ich für ein Hochzeitsgeschenk gemacht, also dürfen Spitze, Perlchen und die Farbe der Braut - Lila - nicht fehlen.

PrimaFlowers First Time Ever :o)

My mom needed a Congratulation Card for one of her colleges at work who is getting married. She really loved the wedding Invitation Card I made some time ago - so I decided to reuse the basic elements. Plus I came across some little PrimaFlowers in a shop in my hometown (yes, they are nearly impossible to get here - via internet ofc but I always wanted to touch and see them in real before buying any) and here is the Card...

Meine Mutter brauchte eine Glückwunsch-Karte für die Hochzeit einer Arbeitskollegin. Ihr gefiel meine Hochzeits-Einladung, die ich vor einiger Zeit gemacht hatte - also hab ich mich entschlossen, die Grundbausteine beizubehalten. Und ich bin endlich über PrimaFlowers gestolpert in einem Geschäft hier in meiner Heimatstadt (die sind hier so schwer zu bekommen, klar übers Netz, aber ich wollte die immer vorher anfassen und in echt sehen, bevor ich da was bestelle) und hier kommt meine Karte...
