Thinking of You

Just a quick, simple and easy card I made. For the special touch I added some stiching and some little pearls.

Eine schnelle, einfache Karte, die ich eben noch schnell gemacht habe. Um etwas Spezielles zu haben, ist ein Herz genäht und ein paar kleine Perlchen haben auch auf die Karte gefunden.

This is a little square mirror I made for the Candy that I'm giving away - Have you already entered?

Hellowwww again :)

Ok, it seems that I'm kind of a superposter today :) A friend of mine asked me if I could make her a folder for her recipes. First I thought of a binding a book but she wanted something where she could put her print outs and that could easily be amplified and this is what I came up with... (I covered the covers with foil so it can be cleaned easily, too)

Ok, es scheint als wäre ich heute ein Super-Post-Schreiber :) Eine Freundin hat mich gefragt, ob ich ihr eine Mappe für ihre Rezepte machen könnte. Zuerst hatte ich eher daran gedacht, ein Buch zu binden, aber sie wollte etwas, wo sie die Ausdrucke hineingeben könnte und leicht zu erweitern sollte es auch sein. Und jetzt die Fotos mit meiner Lösung... (ich habe die Außencover mit Folie überzogen, damit man sie auch leicht reinigen kann)

Almost as new...

I had this black little mirror in my crafty area and as it had some cracks and didn't look too well anymore. So I added another layer of black paint and stamped white flowers, embossed them with white powder and then added pearls for some shine.

Would make a great gift, too huh?

Ich hatte noch einen kleinen schwarzen Spiegel in meinem Bastelreich und der hatte ein paar Sprünge abbekommen und sah einfach nicht mehr so schön aus. Also habe ich eine weitere Lage schwarzen Lack aufgetragen und weiße Blumen drauf gestempelt, dann mit weißem Pulver embossed und zum Schluss noch ein paar Perlen dazu geklebt, für ein wenig Schimmer.

Würde auch ein schönes Geschenk abgeben, oder?

Napkin Rings

Hey Ladies, I just got a call from a friend of mine and she asked me for some napkin rings that would fit a birthday-table of a friend of hers. As it's a man's birthday I didn't use any pearls or so and a big challenge for me was the color she told me to use - green normally isn't a color for me, but I think it went quite well.

Hallo Mädels, ich hab gerade einen Anruf von einer Bekannten bekommen und sie hat mich um Serviettenringe für den Geburtstag eines Bekannten von ihr gebeten. Da es ein Männer-Geburtstag ist habe ich keine Perlen oder ähnliches verwendet und eine weitere große Aufgabe für mich war die Farbe, die ich verwenden sollte - grün ist normalerweise nicht meine Farbe, aber das klappt doch ganz gut.

Hi Elisa, thank you so much for commenting about the die I'm after.  Someone had left a comment with a link to the Sizzix outlet store and it was the correct die only they dont have it in stock.  Its called Hello Kitty Daisies and here is the photo

Explosion-Box

A friend's birthday is coming up and therefore I made this Explosion-Box. It measures 4x4x4in - so I used a 12x12in cardstock. The red layer inside the box measures 11,75x11,75in. Both layers (black and red) are scored at 4in from the outside measured in. The top part is 7,25x7,25 inches scored at 1 inch on each side, decorated with scraps that were left over when cutting the box and brads. The Design-Paper on the black CS has this fluffy black flowers that feel like felt, love those. Finally I added a ribbon to tie everything shut.

Der Geburtstag einer Freundin steht vor der Tür und deswegen habe ich diese Explosion-Box gebastelt. Sie misst ca. 10x10x10cm - ich habe also 30x30cm Cardstock verwendet. Die rote Lage im Inneren der Box misst 29x29cm. Beide Lagen (schwarz und rot) sind bei 10cm von außen gemessen gefalzt. Der Decken misst 10,5x10,5cm gefalzt bei 2,5cm auf allen Seiten, dekoriert mit Resten, die beim Schneiden der Box übrig geblieben sind, und Brads. Das Design-Papier auf dem schwarzen Karton hat diese schwarzen fluffigen Blumen, die sich nach Filz anfühlen, ich finde die wahnsinnig toll. Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein Band genommen, um die Box zu verschließen.

Look what I got today - no more chipboard cutting per hand, 3,5mm can be cut in just one motion -

(cutting length = 36cm / 13inch)

Schaut mal was ich heute bekommen habe - nie wieder Graupappe mit der Hand schneiden, 3,5mm kann ich mit einer Bewegung schneiden -

Another Book

Wednesday is another birthday coming up and I made this book for the "birthday-child". It measures 22x21,5cm on the outside and 21x21cm on the inside - blank pages (as I like them the most myself).

I stamped the front inside with flowers, just to give it an extra touch of spring/summer :)

Mittwoch steht schon wieder ein Geburtstag an und ich hab für das "Geburtstags-Kind" ein Buch gebunden. Es misst 2x21,5cm außen und 21x21cm innen - Seiten ohne Markierung (die sind mir am liebsten).

Ich hab die vordere Innenseite mit Blumen bestempelt, einfach nur um dem Buch etwas mehr von Frühling/Sommer zu geben :)

I Love You

I used a Sketch from Chaos Craft Room Challenge.

I first tried adding some ribbon around a cicle die - never done that before! (I still have to practice that)

Ich hab das erste Mal versucht, ein Band rundrum um eine Kreisform anzubringen - hab das noch nie gemacht! (Ich muss noch ein wenig üben, ganz unter uns)

Steckenpferdchen - "Alles, nur nicht weihnachtlich"

Somehow my cam won't pick up the colors as they are, the light is miserable :/ Sorry!

Irgendwie will meine Cam die Farben nicht nehmen, wie sie sind, das Licht ist mies :/ Sorry!

C.R.A.F.T GuestDT "Celebrations"

A lovely day to all of you - hope you've had a wonderful week so far!

Another thursday another challenge at C.R.A.F.T Challenge Blog and our theme is "Celebrations" - so many ideas went through my head when I saw the challenge. But finally I wanted to make a card for a wedding and this is what it looks like. I tried being more girly by using lace and ribbon and pins (which I've never used before) I still have to get used to those =)

Einen wunderschönen Tag euch allen - ich hoffe ihr hattet soweit eine schöne Woche!

Ein neuer Donnerstag eine neue Challenge bei C.R.A.F.T Challenge Blog und unser Thema ist "Celebrations" - mir gingen so viele Ideen durch den Kopf, als ich die Challenge sah. Letztendlich wollte ich aber eine Hochzeitskarte machen und so sieht sie aus. Ich habe versucht etwas mädchenhafter zu arbeiten und habe Spitze, Bänder und Stecknadeln verwendet (zum allerersten Mal) und an diese muss ich mich wahrlich noch gewöhnen.

Ist denn schon wieder Weihnachten? Der letzte Monat meines Geburtstags-Kalenders - und jetzt ist es Zeit alle Geburtstage und Namen zu notieren... uff

Be my Valentine...

It's been more than two years now, that I was going through old cases in a relative's house that should be sold. And in those cases I found book from 1905 - cook books and old song lyrics. I took all of them with me and some of them, that were too hard to read (for me) or had lost many pages were right on my crafting table since then. Just look who beautiful they are, the old yellowish pages and the handwriting ...

Es ist jetzt mehr als zwei Jahre her, dass ich alte Kisten im Hause von Verwandten, das wir verkaufen wollten, durchsucht habe. In diesen Kisten habe ich Bücher gefunden von 1905 - Kochbücher und alte Liedtexte. Ich hab alle mit nach Hause genommen und einige, die zu schwer zu lesen waren (für mich) oder die schon viele Seiten verloren hatten, waren seitdem neben meinem Schreibtisch. Schaut nur, wie schön die sind, die vergilbten Seiten und die Handschrift ...

I just had to use the pages for Cards, but I never had the right theme. But as I started making Valentine Cards I knew that the pages would make a wonderful background.

Ich musste einfach die Seiten für Karten verwenden, aber ich hatte irgendwie noch nicht das richtige Thema. Aber da ich mit meinen Valentins-Karten angefangen habe, war mir klar, dass die Seiten ein wunderschöner Hintergrund sein würden.

What do you think - am I right?! Wonderful combination of old and new...

Was denkt ihr - hab ich Recht? Eine schöne Kombination aus Alt und Neu...
